Surface Feel — We run a gloved hand across each panel to detect embedded contamination that isn't visible to the naked eye. Paint Thickness Measurement — We use a paint depth gauge to measure the clear coat across each panel, ensuring it's safe to polish. Light Inspection — Using a high-intensity detailing light, we identify hidden defects including marring, hologramming, and deeper scratches. Panel-by-Panel Assessment — Each panel is assessed individually so we can identify varying levels of damage and plan the correct approach. Full Report — We record our findings and talk you through what we've found, what's achievable, and the best course of action before any work begins. This service is included as standard before all Paint Correction bookings and ensures complete transparency — you'll always know exactly what we're doing and why.
